Soy Wax for Pillar Candles has a higher melting point than your regular soy wax.
Caution: This can't be used on its own or at a rate higher than 50% because it will bloom. (Photos to follow)
Tools used: 4cm (Diameter) Pillar candle mold (Acrylic mold), Mini electric stove, 1.2L Pitcher, Spatula, Infrared thermometer, Foil, Soy Wick
We achieved our desired results with this FORMULA:
Soy wax for Pillar Candles 42%
Beeswax 42%
Coconut Oil 10%
Fragrance Oil 6%
We heated the candle mold and wrapped it in foil.
Melting Temperature|Fragrance Oil Mixing Temperature|Pouring Temperature: 200|185|135

Frosting observed:
We added coconut oil and re-heated and the frosting was very minimal.
Uneven sides:
We heated the jar and poured the wax towards the middle to solve this.
The most successful formula (the first candle):
Sides were smooth and burned evenly.
